职位描述：
The Senior Engineer Inspection & Quality Control is responsible to organize and proceed quality control activities in respect to welding and non-destructive-testing. Both, inspections of equipment in workshops, as well as monitoring of contractors working at BASF site during installation, maintenance, or repair are included.

Core Responsibilities:
·Support the Quality Control and Inspection Manager during audits of workshops and contractors
·Strongly represent the owners requirements in respect to quality
·Explain specification details to vendors of mechanical equipment prior start of fabrication
·Organize the owners Quality Control Activities during the fabrication process in respect to design, welding, and non-destructive testing
·Ensure that the owners specifications are meet during fabrication of equipment
·Perform training of contractors responsible for welding &. NDE on BASF sites
·Monitor the contractors performance in respect to quality &. safety during installation, maintenance or repair onsite
·Organize material investigations in case of damages
·Coordinate with responsible authorities for pressure equipment &. pressure piping

Requirements:
·Bachelor or Master degree in welding &. NDE would be appreciated
·International Welding Engineer (IWE) certificate would be appreciated
·NDE level II and or level III certificates for various NDE methods would be appreciated
·Experience during projects of foreign investors in China in respect to quality control of welding &. NDE would be helpful
·Knowledge of Chinese codes & standards in respect to pressure equipment &. pressure piping is required
·Knowledge of ASME and/or European standards would be helpful
·Shall be pro-active and open for continuous improvement
·Shall be able to communicate in English
