Job Description:
－Lead the development of complex, multi-tier distributed software applications.
－Design layered application, including user interface, business functionality, and database access.
－Work with other engineers, managers, product managers, QA, and operation teams to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability while meeting realistic implementation schedules and adhering to development goals and principles.
－Supervise and mentor small teams (2-3 developers)
－Estimate engineering efforts, plan implementations, and rollout system changes.
－Share release management duties during feature rollouts and share on-call responsibilities.
－Develop industry and product technical expertise.
－Proactively participate in maintaining team standards and best practices
－Experience in developing highly scalable applications a major plus.
Job Requirements:
－BS/BA in CS or related field. MS/PhD preferred.
－8+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications.
－Expertise required in object-oriented design methodology and application development in Java and J2EE, including servlets, JSP, Java Beans, JDBC.. Knowledge of XML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML required.
－Experience with database and SQL, preferably Oracle
－3+ years experience in leading medium-to-large project development.
－Project experience with Jboss or other J2EE application servers required.
－Hands-on experience with J2EE application.
－Experience with SOA concepts and implementation
－Proven results oriented person with a delivery focus in a high velocity, high quality environment.
－Have fluent English abilities in both speaking and writing.
